Hardly crowded 2 hours before start. Some clouds to keep the sun away, just to the liking of the runners.
Rivella girls have time for a smile.
One can't get lost, action in every direction.

Runners exhibition, where one can get the latest equipment, to feign a mental advantage.
There are as many desks for the 13 starting blocks from which the starting number and chip can be picked up.
What a crowd it would be if the 10,000 runners started at the same time. That's why the runners are assigned to starting
blocks of their individual running time.

Plenty of cabins for the last relief before start.
While some thousand are still running, some are already back enjoying real food.
Those walking the wooden path below the red and blue arch of triumph have finished the half marathon.
Here I intended to meet my brother later. As he phoned me earlier to tell he got the time chip, I assumed he will start as well.

After the finish line I grabed some cups of Rivella Marathon, because I felt very dizzy from dehydration.
Due to his later start, I expected my brother to arrive one hour later, so I had time to shower and change clothes.
Only later I found out he canceled the run at Riedikon at km 18.8, because of leg problems. After the run he went
back to the school class meeting. Maybe he will start next year after a more serious training.

Have you noticed, I'm on the photo too - the shadow on the ground.
As the rain didn't sadden the day as expected, I enjoyed a leisure walk around until I got home with 18:25 train.

My friend made a good point, of which I wasn't aware.
With a big smile I adapted her comment to:
As my pace hasn't improved, at least my look since first Half Marathon has!
